Fire extinguisher

Hi, I’m curious as to where owners have mounted a fire extinguisher in their planes.  It seems there is very little extra room for one in mine, especially with my batteries mounted underneath the two front seats.

Mine was mounted right on the front of the spar box , under my pilot seat.  Not looking like that will help you.

Ours is mounted under the instrument panel on a downward sloping shelf.

I mounted a small Halon fire

I mounted a small Halon fire extinguisher to the seat bottom of my co-pilot seat. It's mounted far enough aft to allow the seat to be moved all the way forward, and is accessible by reaching down between the seats from the left front seat. I rarely carry passengers in the back seat, and it does not completely obstruct foot room in the back seat, but if someone finds it in the way, I just dismount it for that trip and put it on the floor between the rear seats...

Thanks George and Bob. Gonna head out to the plane this weekend and start scouting a mounting place, probably under the front right seat.
