You won't be too happy with 45° tapes. The edging won't let them conform like the ones you cut out of the BID cloth. >I have a carberated Lycoming 320 engine and I bought the Facet fuel pump >(3/8 pipe) for the fuel pump. Are we saying this won't work? They >advertise 4-6 psi output. None of the automotive stuff you use is reccommended for "aircraft use" even if it is better. A 6 psi pressure will probably overcome the carb float. It is designed to work on a relatively low head. Check the carb specs. >I can't determine if the oil pressure transducer mounts on >the engine. >Does the oil pressure transducer get installed with a fitting attached >to a line running to the oil cooler? Any suggestions on how to plumb >and mount the oil pressure transducer? Do not mount the oil pressure transducer on the engine. Use hose and mount it on the firewall. Engine vibration will take it out quick. The take off point is the 1/8"pipe plug at the top right front of the crankcase or 1/8" pipe plug on the accessory case near the right upper engine mount. The latter is some time hard to get a fitting in with engine mounted. Bill N7WB
