You won't be too happy with 45° tapes. The edging won't let them conform

like the ones you cut out of the BID cloth.

None of the automotive stuff you use is reccommended for "aircraft use"

even if it is better. A 6 psi pressure will probably overcome the

carb float. It is designed to work on a relatively low head.

Check the

carb specs.

Do not mount the oil pressure transducer on the engine. Use hose and

mount it on the firewall.  Engine vibration will take it out quick. The

take off point is the 1/8"pipe plug at the top right

front of the

crankcase or 1/8" pipe plug on the accessory case near the right upper

engine mount.   The latter is some time hard to get a fitting in with

engine mounted.
