I installed an Aircraft Spruce upholstery kit in my 320 two years ago. Photos of my installation are on our LML website attachments (at the bottom of the page). Lancairs became popular enough that ACS added them to their upholstery kits in 1990-91. Phil Harcourt's 360 was used as the model for the kit by Diane Davidson. When she later left ACS (about 1994), the entire upholstery kit line was discontinued for about two years, until Todd, (who specialized in upholstery,) revived them in 1995. I purchased mine in 1996. I paid approximately $ 1,800, which included custom Velcro-on headrests of my own design. The overall quality was excellent. It's still a lot of work to install...many custom measurements (almost all pieces are furnished oversized, customer trim to fit). I removed the plastic backing on all pieces. They were not only unnecessary, but in some cases, prevented installation. Simply glue all pieces in using spray-on adhesive after careful fitting and cutting. I'd estimate at least 100 hours for a good job. Bill Rumburg N403WR (Sonic BOOM)
