on the subject of balance weights, uranium would be nice (specific gravity -

18.5), lead is cheap (sg 11.3), but tungsten (sg 19.3) is denser, stronger,

available and used as a counter weight in low drag aircraft (nemesis). some

tungsten carbide plants will sometimes sell (or give away - it's a hazard)

"dirty" tungsten at a reasonable price (make sure it's not tungsten

"carbide", it weighs less ~ sg 14.5). I got my (old) powder free.
