I have to agree with Kevin. In addition to this report that includes a successful flight with an open canopy.  I know of another in Texas (Don Bird)who  successfully landed with the canopy open. I also know the Lakeland crash was the result of a stall. Yes, the canopy was a contributing factor to but the airplane simply got to slow and stalled.  As far as I know, there has been no flight testing done with a Legacy in this configuration. We have some anecdotal reports and that’s it.

When my canopy came up so did the nose
uncontrollably.  Makes me wonder why the plane got slow and stalled….??
