I'd like to have my right hand on the stick and left hand on the throttle during approaches and landing. I was not planning on duplicating the carb heat, mixture and prop controls -- these would presumably not be moved during the final landing throes. I had always assumed I would use a torque tube under the seat -- one end conected to the left hand throttle and one connected to the one in the center. The center throttle lever would have the cable running through the firewall to the carburetor. Has anyone done this? What do you think? - Rob Wolf N35TD (my Cessna 150 -- slow, but it flies...)
