Anyone using the GRT screens in the 320/360, where did you place the magnetometer?
Mine is in the tail but just so happens all the ant. wires run past it so I think its causing heading mis-readings.

Hey gang,

I know most are putting their magnetometers in their airplane's tails. On the Legacy the access in the small tail is very difficult.

We're looking at putting ours in the dry bay of a wing, where the aileron push rods traverse.  There's available volume.

Has anyone tried this?  Results?

Thanks,

Valin

Valin and Allyson,

Our Chelton Magnetometer is mounted at the top and behind the baggage bulkhead.  The Trutrack pitch servo is directly below it on the belly.  Never a problem.
