My cable decision was Belden RG-142B/U(Trade No. 83242).The reasons were

two...TFE Teflon insulation and FEP Teflon jacket material as opposed to PVC

which will produce toxic fumes when burned. In addition, this cable was the

only one I could find which has a double shield of inner and outer braid. The

primary reason for shielding in the first place is to prevent unwanted signals

from finding their way into the cable. such as strobe or ignition stuff. This

cable costs around 2.30 per foot vs .24 for RG58 but I always need another

excuse to bleed off the checkbook balance.

Completed my installation of the S-TEC pitch servo motor and cable today plus

2hrs time in an Ercoupe.
