Can't comment on how critical it is to get the EGT sensors the same

distance from the exhaust flange buy don't hesitate to put the sensors on

the curved part of the exhaust tubing.  My Lancair has the sensors

installed on the curves to keep the distance constant from one cylinder to

the other.
