Create an access panel on the seat-back of the co-pilot's side.  Build a

vertical panel behind the copilot's seat (creating a forward bulkhead for the

baggage compartment) and mount the hydraulic pump on that.  Now you can easily

access the pump and make it possible to even preflight your pump and resorvoir

every time you fly if you wish.  You then won't have to climb into the baggage

compartment to have a peek.

If you have the choice, go with the small tail feathers.  The big one is over-

rated and has a potential for flutter.  The small one works great and is much

better looking.  Save the bucks for something you really need.

(Note:  I've come up with a way to attach photos to our LML mailings and am

including a shot of Michael Fopp's version of the installation that Pete

has outlined above.  Sorry about the quality, but the originals that were

given to me just wouldn't scan without those moire lines... nonetheless

this should give you a general idea of this approach.  More on attachments

later in an upcoming post.   <Marv>)
