LOBO is planning a great gathering this fall in Asheville NC, our annual LOBO Landing! I need help with our silent auction. This important fundraiser has helped the organization do several things: support our LOBO endorsed flight instructors with training materials and an Ipad based tracking system, create and distribute specialized engine timing and fuel system calibration, create this online forum for our members, and much more. The job entails contacting the many companies who support the mission of LOBO and asking for auction items. We need about 25-30 items. These can be aviation related or not; last year we had a three night stay in Colorado, and a  two night stay in Napa with dinner donated as experiences. We also auctioned a substantial donation of Callicrate beef. The auctioneer needs to attend the Landing, set up the donations, and run the event. I have all the letters created and the auction sheets ready to customize for this years donations. The auction chairperson will receive complimentary registration for the Landing for him/herself and a companion as an expression of appreciation from LOBO.
