Fuel Flow issue

Forums:

Flying from KSRQ Sarasota, Florida at FL280 for 2 hours and all engine parameters are normal. Fuel Flow is 37 GPH
Then I notice the Fuel Flow is erratic and goes to Zero.  All else is normal.
I switch on the electric fuel pump, no change.
I switch fuel tanks, no change
Reading starts up again to 55 for an instant then decreases down to 10, 5, 0
Upon descending into KPTK Pontiac, Michigan the fuel flow starts to climb and stops at 37.  It then seems to operate normally until we land and taxi to hangar.

I'm thinking the Fuel Transducer is giving me a warning.  It was installed March 2018 as the previous one developed a leak.

Anyone have a diagn

osis or recommendation?

Don,

Don,

This sounds exactly like your fuel flow transducer a failing. I assume your fuel pressure was stable and a normal pressure when all this was happening?

Yes, for 2 hours in flight.

Yes, for 2 hours in flight. Suggestions are to check wire connections then transducer failing.

thanks
