sure you want to do this?  

As far as I can tell, the most measurable effect of changing the exhaust stack configuration is the amount of soot on the bottom of the plane.

The second most measurable effect is the amount of noise in the plane.

Both of those will change your life more than 1/2 a knot will.

...that said, I'm no expert on this particular mod.

No I'm not sure.  Had same concerns about soot on belly.  Hadn't thought of noise. Hoping to get input from someone who has experience with the alteration. Can't put it back once it's done.

I did this. (See photos)

The RH tailpipe was similar.

I CNC engraved the template you see.

I am not having any issues but I don't have any "before" data.
